- Average tariff for Faroese fish in global markets is 10.05% compared to 7.22% and 7.20% for Norwegian and Icelandic fish respectively
- Fish exports increased 12,3% from DKK 11.4b in 2024 to DKK 12.8b in 2025 (DKK)
- Exports in tonnes decreased 6,4% from 559,000t in 2024 to 523,000t in 2025

As a Faroese company, we recognize that Faroese fish export is a topic of public interest. Therefore, we quickly chose to create a general and publicly available export report, as the 2025 statistics were recently released and also uploaded into our platform.
With this report and our activities in general, we seek to provide better insights into export trends and how Nordic nations within fisheries/aquaculture navigate the international fish trade to obtain competitive advantages in global markets.
